You know you make me wanna…Shout!

30 Jun

We’re excited to announce another new feature in Miso for iPhone: Shout!

Let’s say you’re watching a baseball game on TV. Wouldn’t it be cool to see what other people are saying about the game? With Miso Shout! you can cheer for your team or talk trash with fans of the other team.

It’s fun because everyone is watching together!

  • Shout! makes it easy to share reactions and opinions about anything that you watch — down to the specific episode or game.
  • Shouts appear in the Chatter stream – a new feed for every single episode, movie, and sports game.
  • You can participate in the conversation knowing that everyone is watching the exact same thing.

Shout! is another reason why Miso is the best way to connect with friends while watching TV. Download the iPhone app now and give us a Shout! :)

Can’t believe you have more space on an iPad and don’t release those great features!

We actually can’t wait to release these features on iPad too!

Right now we are focused on the iPhone with the strategy of turning out a ton of new features and testing them all out… Once we iron out the kinks we’ll add them to the other platforms too.

      Thanks for your patience :)

I totally agree with Francisco…! Another nice addition — but it really, really sucks that I have to keep my iPhone around all the time to use these new features because the iPad version is not on par with it…! :(

Why would I bother with the iPhone (as much as I love it) when my iPad with its beautiful large screen is on the table whenever I watch TV…?! Please give us an update for the iPad to finally catch up…! That’s what people expect from a universal app, after all…

So that’s 2 new features in the past two months for iPhone but no love for Android? So sad… especially since I hear that Android is taking a larger chunk of the smartphone market than iPhone. It makes sense since Android is available on my handsets and via more carriers than iPhone. I’ll be glad when developers start waking up to this fact and quit constantly catering to iPhone first. :(

      I totally agree with You!

I’m an Android user by myself, and have been that for some years now.
In my oppinion and a big part of the smartphone users’s oppinions, and as you also can see on graphs, statistics, etc., Android is really the future!
Android does have a bigger part of the smartphone market than Apple now, Android are increasing faster, updates are rolling out faster, openness, and last but not least a greater freedom to specialize and customize your product, both from the carrier, but also by the user, etc.

I don’t really understand why you let all your Android users behind, with an outdated version of your app!
You’re latest update of the Android app, was back in Jan 13, 2011, to Version 2.2, which just include some Performance & Stability updates.

Come into the action, and get your Android app with the wave!

I really hope you understood my message.

Thank you in advance, and have a continued nice day! :-)
